KOFI ANOKYE
CEO

Kofi Anokye is the CEO of Koans building Solutions Limited popularly known as Koans Estates, in Ghana. He is a very educated, experienced and versatile entrepreneur in the Real Estate industry with the aim of building quality yet affordable houses for the people of Ghana and beyond.

Mr. Anokye is also the Director of Operations at Koans Estates and the Chairman of the Ghana Property Awards since 2015. Through him, the company has won several awards both locally and internationally and these includes, Property Company of the Year 2009, Property Redevelopment Company of the Year 2010, Special Recognition Award for using Local Materials for the promotion of real estate industry in Ghana 2011, Middle Income Builder of the Year 2012, Property Hall of Fame-2013, Golden European Awards for Innovations in the real estate sphere; Rome (Italy)-2015, Business Excellence Awards in real estate; Washington DC (USA)-2016 and still counting.

He holds a Master's in Business Administration (MBA)- Project Management option, from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). He has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor in Operations and Project Management (BOPM) all from GIMPA. He again has a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology also from Accra Polytechnic.

Mr. Anokye is married with four children. He loves to keep fit by playing football on Saturdays and Sundays. He also enjoys listening to music and watching football matches. He is always seen wanting to learn new things so as to be able to impart it on those close to him (employees, family and friends) and hence explains his interest in travelling.


Dela is a versatile person who has risen through various ranks in the real estate arena. He is hardworking, time conscious and punctual, an excellent team worker, and creative, innovative and has a passion for quantitative analysis. He has competence in estate administration and a strong managerial skill in corporate negotiations and project management.

Having been employed for the 10 years at Koans Estate, Dela has served as an Administrator, an Estate Manager and the Head of Finance and Administration department. He is currently the General Manager and his role includes:

  • Representing the company in negotiating for major corporate contracts with companies such as Ghana Commercial Bank, St. Peters Mission University and Barclays Bank among others.
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities within the value chain of the company
  • Assist the CEO with oversight responsibilities in terms of Finance, Operations and Marketing.
  • Keeping cost and sales records, presenting property budgets, and generating real estate financial reports
  • Handling administrative, clerical and financial duties.

IT OFFICER

Ken is currently responsible for ensuring that all IT related issues are resolved at Koans Estate. He is hardworking and a fast learner, passionate and has a can do attitude towards work. Ken is someone who pays attention to details; works well under pressure and has enthusiasm for continual learning.

Having joined the company for the 3 years, he has chalked a lot of experiences in the real estate system so much so that, he combines his position with helping in the Stores and Marketing departments. He is very articulate and hard working. His roles include;
  • Managing stocks of equipment and other office supplies
  • Checking computer equipment for electrical safety
  • Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, networks, printers and scanners.

Gloria is an articulate young lady who has a proven track record of handling correspondence, file management, inventory management, and inter office communication as well as front desk management. She is committed to delivering high quality office support by performing diverse range of secretarial and support tasks. She is a team player, works very well under pressure, and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

With her involvement in Koans Estate for 10 years, Gloria has been exposed to many different Real Estate Office environments and issues and is in a good position to provide support and advice for every Agency's needs and to help streamline Agency systems and procedures for both sales and administrative management. Her role includes;
  • Making travel and accommodation arrangements for the company's directors and managers
  • Answering and dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Attending to clients who walk in to make enquiries and directing them to the appropriate officers.
  • Attending to general ad-hoc duties as procuring stationery and other office equipment

ACCOUNTANT

Dennis is responsible for providing financial guidance and assistance during real estate transactions at Koans Estate. Having been employed for 10 years in the company, Dennis has a unique insight into the operations and practical applications of good financial management in the real estate industry.

He is patient, hardworking, and talented and pays attention to details. He has a meticulous and methodical nature and able to work very well under pressure. His roles include;
  • Preparing financial records and reports for a variety of transactions including property sales, rentals, leases and time-sharing.
  • Developing revenue and expenditure cycle reports, lease abstracts, cash basis income statements and other budget-related items.
  • Coordinating appraisal, asset evaluation and capitalization activities
  • Providing investment analysis and planning for organizations seeking to acquire and develop property.
  • Provide financial strategies and prepare reports on behalf of the company.
  • Responsible for receiving payments and issuing receipts in relation to purchases, leases, and other transactions.

Akaibe is responsible for human resource management at Koans Estate as well as in charge of legal issues. Since joining the company in the past three (3) months, she has shown extensive commitment and professionalism in handling most legal issues leading to her appointment as a human resource manager.

She is proactive, result-oriented, a self-starter and very good at handling confidential issues. Akaibe has a proven relationship building and people management skills, excellent technical and problem-solving skills as well as strong facilitation and presentation skills. She also has outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities and a good team player.

Akaibe loves to demonstrate integrity, sound judgments, and highest ethical standards in all she does. Her role includes;
  • Maintaining employment policies within an organization relating to discrimination, personnel rules and programs by applying human resources laws and government regulations on a national level.
  • Managing employees within an organization and handling training, compensation and staffing matters
  • Handling a variety of employment concerns including firing and disciplining staff.
  • Responsible for answering questions relating to salary, benefits and workplace rules within the company.
  • The primary contact for legal counsel in risk mitigation activities and litigation pertaining to employee/ company relations matters.
  • Responsible for decisions related to corporate branding as it relates to recruiting and retaining talented employees.
  • Handling other legal issues as and when they arise
